ACUFAB X Series

The ACUFAB X Press Brake combines strength, precision and ease of use in a machine built for everyday fabrication. Designed for reliable performance, it delivers practical capability, consistent accuracy and operator-friendly control across a wide range of bending applications.

With hybrid drive technology, the Delem 53 controller and an X+R backgauge system, the ACUFAB X supports faster setup, repeatable bending and improved positioning accuracy. Combined with CNC crowning, Euro style tooling, quick-release clamping, integrated safety technology and full Performatec support, it is built to maximise uptime and deliver dependable results.

ACUFAB machines are built to Performatec

machines feature enclosed cutting booths, laser-safe
viewing windows, interlocked access doors, safety
relay architecture and high capacity fume extractor.

Fully Enclosed Cutting Area

For Performatec, enclosure integrity is a core part
of the machine specification, not an afterthought.
ACUFAB fibre lasers have fully enclosed cutting booth
together with negative-pressure dust extraction to
support a safer and cleaner working environment.
All ACUFAB fibre lasers are manufactured with
generously sized downdraft extraction, 99.99%
filtration efficiency.

Maximum Operator Protection

ACUFAB X and ACUFAB H machines are fitted witha safety light curtain system around the exchange-
table area to help protect operators during loading,unloading and table changeover. Because exchange
tables involve large moving platforms, sheet material
and automated motion, the light curtain provides
an important safeguard by detecting access into the
protected zone.

ACUFAB X - Delem Controller

The compact DA-53T adds a state-of-the-art complete touch control solution for synchronized press brakes. Offering easiest CNC programming based on the Delem graphical touch screen user interface.This panel based control, standard capable of controlling up to 4 axes, can be integrated in cabinets as well as used in a pendulant arm housing.

Its 10.1” wide screen high resolution colour TFT, with industrial grade multi touch technology, gives access to the proven Delem user-interface. It enables direct “hot-key” touch navigation between product programming and actual production. Functions are located where needed, offering optimized ergonomics throughout the entire application. Machine adjustment and test bends are reduced to a minimum with a quick and easy program-to-production work sequence.

Laser safety

For premium operator protection, the ACUFAB press
brake is fitted with DSP laser safety. This advanced system protects against crushing between the upper and lower tools while improving productivity through faster cycle times.

Safety Interlocked Access Doors

Safety interlocked access doors prevent access the backgauge area whilst the machine is operational.

Safety Relay

Safety relay -All ACUFAB press brakes are fitted with safetyrelay. Safety relays are specifically used to monitor E-stops, guardswitches, light curtains and similar safety devices.

X + R Backgauge

The ACUFAB X+R backgauge is a servo controlled positioning system that improves bending accuracy and setup efficiency on a press brake. The X axis controls the front-to-back movement of the backgauge,while the R axis controls vertical movement.

CNC Crowning

Ensures accurate bending along the full length of the part Delem controller calculates the bend based on material,thickness, tooling, bend length, and target angle it then sendsthe required crowning value to the crowning axis/system

Mild Hybrid Drive

The ACUFAB press brake’s mild hybrid drive deliversbetter response and control in ram movement,which improves positioning accuracy at the targetposition and uses closed-loop speed control.
